How Much Does Digital Marketing Cost in Dubai? A Complete Business Guide

Ask five Dubai agencies what digital marketing costs and you'll get five different answers. One quotes AED 2,000. Another quotes AED 20,000. Both can be honest, because they are often pricing different things.

This guide shows you what the market really charges, what moves a quote up or down, which costs get left out of proposals, and how to set a budget that fits your business. We've also included our own pricing as rounded ranges, so you have a real agency to compare against.

The Short Answer: 2026 Price Matrix

Most Dubai businesses pay AED 3,000 to AED 15,000 per month in agency fees. That is the management fee only. Your ad budget sits on top.

Business stageTypical monthly agency feeWhat you usually get
Startup / single channelAED 3,000 – 6,000One or two channels, basic content, light reporting
SME / multi-channelAED 6,000 – 12,000SEO, social, paid ads, regular content, monthly reviews
Enterprise / customAED 12,000 – 15,000+Several markets, bilingual campaigns, dedicated team

These are market ranges drawn from published agency pricing in the UAE. Your own quote will vary. Three rules hold almost everywhere:

  • Below AED 3,000 a month, expect thin service. Think one junior person juggling many accounts, stock visuals and little reporting.
  • Price follows workload, not company size. More channels, more content and tougher competition cost more.
  • The fee tells you little without the scope. Always ask what is included and what is not.

Management Fees vs. Ad Spend: The Difference That Trips People Up

These are two separate bills.

  • Management fee: what you pay the agency for strategy, setup, creative, optimisation and reporting.
  • Ad spend: what you pay Google, Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn to show your ads.

Say your agency charges AED 5,000 a month and you want to spend AED 5,000 on ads. Your real monthly cost is AED 10,000. Plenty of owners budget for the fee alone and get a shock in week two.

Here is the safer setup: you pay the platforms directly from your own ad account. The agency never touches the money and never adds a mark-up. That is how we work at Divi Digital. Our clients pay Meta and Google directly, and we suggest the best budget split.

What Each Channel Costs in Dubai

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Most local-business SEO retainers in Dubai land between AED 2,000 and AED 8,000 a month. E-commerce sites and technical clean-ups cost more, because there is more to fix and more pages to rank.

SEO is slow. It is also the channel that keeps paying after the work is done. Expect real movement in six to twelve months for local keywords, and longer for crowded ones. Our guides on local SEO and Google Maps in Dubai and what a backlink is and why it matters explain where the money goes. If you want a done-for-you team, see our SEO services in Dubai.

Paid Media: Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn

Agencies charge paid media in one of two ways: a flat monthly fee, or a percentage of ad spend. Flat fees are easier to predict. Percentages can reward an agency for pushing your spend up, so ask which model you're signing.

The bigger number is the click price. Cost per click depends on your industry, not your agency. A florist and a luxury property developer do not pay the same. Read more in our breakdown of Google Ads in Dubai, or look at our pay-per-click advertising and search engine marketing services.

Social Media and Content Production

This is where quotes differ most, and the reason is simple: the shoot.

  • Stock visuals and templates: cheapest, and it shows.
  • iPhone reel shoots: fast, real and good for trend-style content.
  • Professional videographer with lighting: higher cost, cinematic result.

Also check how much content you get. Eight reels and seven posters a month is a very different package from four posts.

Our post on turning followers into customers covers what good looks like. See also our social media marketing, social media management and content marketing services.

Website and Landing Page Setup

A landing page can cost a few thousand dirhams. A full custom website or online store can pass AED 25,000. The published range runs from about AED 1,500 to AED 25,000+, and the spread comes from design depth, page count, integrations and

e-commerce features.

Don't spend a fortune on ads and send traffic to a slow, confusing page. If your site needs work, start with our website design and development team, or e-commerce development if you sell online.

WhatsApp, CRM and Automation

In Dubai, a lot of leads convert on WhatsApp, not on a form. Yet many proposals price marketing as SEO and ads only. Ask about:

  • WhatsApp Business setup and click-to-chat ads
  • Meta Conversions API (CAPI) and pixel tracking
  • CRM setup, such as HubSpot or Zoho, and lead routing
  • Automated follow-ups by email or SMS

These pieces decide whether a lead gets answered in two minutes or two days. See our WhatsApp marketing, email marketing and SMS marketing pages.

The Dubai Factors That Can Move Your Quote by 50% to 100%

1. The Bilingual Premium

Running campaigns in English and Arabic often costs close to double. It isn't a translation fee. Arabic campaigns need their own keyword research, because people search differently in Arabic. They need dialect-aware copy and right-to-left layouts. Each language also needs its own ad testing.

If Arabic-speaking customers matter to you, budget for it properly. Our guide to Arabic SEO shows what real execution involves.

2. Industry Competition

Some Dubai niches are expensive to advertise in. Real estate, corporate setup, luxury healthcare and B2B logistics all fight over the same buyers. Click prices run higher and you need a bigger test budget before the numbers settle.

A generic "PPC from AED 3,000" line tells you nothing about your market. Ask any agency to show you realistic cost-per-lead expectations for your sector.

3. Local Team vs. Offshore Execution

Offshore agencies can be cheaper. They can also be slow to react to UAE events, Ramadan timing, local holidays and platform quirks. A local team can meet you, shoot on location and answer on WhatsApp the same day. Decide how much that is worth to you.

Hidden Costs and Traps Agencies Rarely Mention

5% UAE VAT

Most quotes are listed excluding 5% VAT. On a AED 10,000 retainer, that's AED 500 a month you may not have planned for. Ask how VAT applies to the agency fee, and how it shows up on your Google and Meta invoices for your accounting team.

Who Owns the Ad Accounts?

This one hurts. Some agencies run your Google Ads, Meta Business account, pixel and GA4 under their own login. When you leave, you lose the data, the audiences and the history. Insist that every account, page and asset is registered in your name from day one.

The Cheap Retainer Trap

A package under AED 2,500 usually means recycled templates, no real strategy and almost no testing. It can damage your brand more than silence would. You often end up paying twice: once for the cheap agency, once for the clean-up.

Extras Outside the Fee

Common add-ons include:

  • Models, props and locations for shoots
  • Stock footage and music licences
  • Paid tools and subscriptions
  • Extra revision rounds
  • Setup or onboarding fees

None of these are bad in themselves. They only become a problem when nobody mentions them until the invoice arrives.

Long Lock-In Contracts

A short minimum term, such as three to six months, is fair because marketing needs time to work. A twelve-month lock-in with no exit clause is a warning sign.

Budget Playbooks by Business Type

Use these as starting points, not promises.

Local Service Business (Clinic, Restaurant, Salon)

Your customers search "near me" and check Google Maps first. Put your money into local SEO, Google Business Profile, reviews and a steady stream of authentic social content. Add small, focused Meta or Google ads for offers. An iPhone-style shoot is often enough here.

High-Ticket Lead Generation (Real Estate, Business Setup, Interior Design)

You need fewer, better leads. Lean on Google Search ads for buyers who are ready now, Meta lead forms for volume, and WhatsApp for fast follow-up. Budget more for ads than a local service business would. A slow reply loses the sale, so lead routing matters as much as the ads.

Regional E-Commerce Brand

Your priorities are product feeds, Meta catalogue ads, retargeting and reliable tracking. Add GCC shipping details to your pages and ads. Spend on a store that converts before you scale traffic. Our e-commerce development team builds stores with that in mind.

What Divi Digital Charges (Rounded Ranges)

We'd rather you see real numbers than a "contact us for pricing" wall. These are base-price ranges. Your exact quote depends on scope, shoot type and platforms.

ServiceApproximate monthly rangeBest for
Local SEO (basic to premium)AED 2,000 – 3,000Businesses that want steady organic enquiries
Social media + ads (iPhone or pro shoot)AED 3,000 – 5,000Brands that want content and leads together

  • You own everything. Pages, ad accounts and assets stay in your name.
  • Ad budget paid directly by you to Meta and Google. No mark-up, ever.
  • Content volume you can count: eight reels and seven posters a month on our social plans, with comments and DMs handled.
  • Tracking built in: Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4 and WhatsApp set-up.
  • Leads sent straight to your Google Sheet or CRM, with instant alerts.
  • A dedicated manager on WhatsApp and a plain-English monthly report with a review call.

Minimum terms run from three months on SEO to six months on social and 360° plans. Prices exclude 5% VAT where applicable, and models and props are approved by you before we book them.

How Long Before You See a Return?

Different channels pay back at different speeds. Plan around that.

  • Paid ads: leads can arrive within days. Expect two to three months of testing before cost per lead settles.
  • Social media: audience growth and engagement build over three to six months. Leads from paid social come sooner.
  • SEO: the first movement shows around month two or three. Strong local results typically take about six months on a premium plan, and about a year on a lighter one. Competitive keywords take longer.
  • Content marketing: compounds slowly, then keeps paying. Read how it generates business leads.

A good agency tells you this up front. If anyone promises page-one rankings in 30 days, walk away.

Seven Questions to Ask Before You Sign

  1. What exactly is in the monthly fee? Ask for deliverables in numbers: posts, reels, blogs, hours.
  2. What is not included? Get models, props, tools and revisions in writing.
  3. Who owns the ad accounts, pixel and analytics? The answer must be you.
  4. Do I pay the platforms directly? If not, ask about mark-ups.
  5. Who will actually work on my account? Ask to meet or at least name them.
  6. How do you report, and how often? You want leads, cost per lead and sales, not just likes.
  7. What is the exit process? Check the minimum term and what you take with you.

For a deeper checklist, read our guide on how to choose a digital marketing agency in Dubai.

How to Set Your Budget

Start from the result you want, then work backwards.

  1. Decide what a customer is worth to you.
  2. Estimate how many leads it takes to win one customer.
  3. Set the monthly lead target you need to hit your revenue goal.
  4. Split the budget between agency fees, ad spend and content production.
  5. Review after 90 days and move money toward what works.

If you're not sure where to start, begin with one or two channels and do them well. Spreading a small budget across five platforms rarely works.

Final Thoughts

Digital marketing in Dubai costs what it costs because good work takes strategy, creative, testing and follow-up. The cheapest quote is rarely the lowest price once you count the rework. The best-value agency is the one that shows you the full scope, lets you own your accounts and reports honestly on results.
